Well folks, we are pushing through. No signs of any hurricanes yet. It sure has been close a few times, but really nothing crazy. Had a few scares with some of these thunderstorms but it was just a big scare.
Wanted to make sure everyone has the proper precautions taken, mainly:
- Shutters up on all windows and openings in their houses
- A proper escape route planned in case things really do get bad
- 7 days worth of food and water stored at all times
- Plan of action – Tampa Roofing
- Roof in good repair
- Gutters in good shape
We like to always stay proactive with all of our planning, and we want to make sure you are as well.
Of course, make sure your roof is in good repair as well, gutters are in good shape, and no trees or plants over grown.
Some people estimate that 30% of all damage and destruction could be avoided if everyone trimmed their palm trees, etc. That figure sounds pretty shocking, but we tend to believe it.
